Yesterday we didnt get a chance to write because there was no internet in our albergue and only one albergue in the village... but yesterday was the HARDEST day on the camino yet. We climbed up this huge mountain, O Cebreiro, and crossed over into the province of Galicia (up until now we´ve been in the province of Castilla y Leon) and on the way back down, it began to thunderstorm, so we put on our rain gear and pressed on, and almost got hit by lightening! I actually thought I was being struck by the lightening because i could feel the ground shuddering beneath me and felt my body vibrating, but after it was over, i was like, hey! i´m still alive! So that was really scary, and we finally got to our destination town, only to find out that the only albergue in the town was full, and we would have to sleep on the floor. Well that didnt sound good at all, especially since i mailed my floor pad to Santiago because i didnt want to carry the extra weight, so we walked another 3k to the next town once the storm had passed, and - gracias a Santiago! - got the last 6 beds in that albergue! Whew.
